Winter enthusiasts of the Central Cascades are among the few who know the treasure of being in the mountains first thing in the morning. The sunrise view of Mt. Bachelor in the winter is truly breathtaking, and the atmosphere during these early hours compels you to embrace the silence. This was a commissioned oil painting depicting the popular Central Oregon ski resort, Mt. Bachelor, in a fresh layer of powder.
